Craft lovers are in for a treat as The Fox Pub in Hanwell re-launches its craft market, The Fox Makers' Market, on Saturday May 14, selling unique handcrafted gifts and crafts.

Organised by Emma Newman and Victoria Williams, the market was previously known as Foxy's Food and Craft Market, and will be re-launching in the hopes of attracting new visitors, whilst keeping the market as a local favourite.

Emma Newman said: "In recent years crafting has become a trendy pastime. It is the aim of The Fox Makers' Markets to attract new crafters making fresh, modern products while retaining the traditional crafts that customers at The Fox crafts markets have come to love.

"The staff and customers at The Fox are a very artistic lot numbering among them filmmakers, jewellery and knitwear designers, florists, musicians and actors so it seems only natural for the pub to celebrate creativity with a regular makers' market.

"The pub is also very conscious of being a hub of the local community, and with its friendly atmosphere and affordable table prices The Fox Makers' Market is a perfect way for locals and newly established creative companies to sell direct to the public.

"The organisers hope that shoppers will be excited by the re-invigorated craft markets, seeing them as a way to discover new products, encourage start-up businesses and support local makers."

A stall at The Fox's Vintage Market

The Fox Makers' Markets will alternate with the established Fox Vintage Markets - one month vintage, the next craft - with the first Maker's Market falling on Saturday May 14 from 1pm to 5pm.
