An organ recital is being held at a popular church which will entail an evening of French music with wine and cheese served during the performance.

Showcasing the splendid Henry Willis Organ which was presented to the Church just three years before the Great War broke out, this occasion offers the opportunity to visit the only memorial to the war dead in Hatch End.

Fourteen engraved and coloured shields in the chancel bear arms associated with the battlefields, set around the reredos, a carved screen created by architect Charles Spooner. The names are engraved on a plaque and in the Book of Remembrance.
