West London's first pop-up pug café has been cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances".

Outsider Tart coffee house and bakery in Chiswick High Road was due to host its first pug café in west London on Saturday September 2.

The event has now been rearranged to take place at The Book Club in Shoreditch on Saturday September 9.

Surrey based, Anushka Fernando, is to host one of her Pop Up Pug Cafe in London as the self confessed dog lover uses her passion to bring dogs together.

Organiser and self-confessed dog lover, Anushka Fernando, said she wanted to use her passion for pets to bring pug lovers together.

Anushka has set up a series of pug meet-ups where she lives in Guildford with her pug Bertie after he missed out of meeting up with other dogs when he was a puppy due to a spinal operation.

Pugs, owners, and pug lovers can immerse themselves in everything pug, while enjoying delicious wholesome treats for both dogs and humans.

There’s even a free puguccino for every pug that attends, doggy treats and cakes.

"I decided a coffee morning with all the pugs would be a fun thing to do." Anushka told GetWestLondon .

"I have always been a pug dog lover. I am really excited.

"Our first event was a huge success and I am really excited to bring it to the capital."

Registration opens for the pop up pug café on Saturday August 19 at 11am.

There is a £5 booking fee.
