There is a lot of talk about Olympic Legacy, and Ealing is experiencing it first hand.

The Ealing Half Marathon was introduced in the Olympic year in order to bring a fantastic mass participation sporting event to the Borough that would be a legacy to the Games and the organisers have proudly achieved that. The Ealing Half Marathon is now a firm fixture in the national running calendar, attracting runners of all levels from London and beyond.

A total of 6,000 places are available for this year’s half marathon, and we are looking forward to cheering on the runners who will be pounding the streets on September 28. The 13.1 mile single lap course takes in parts of Central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephens before returning to Lammas Park.

Some 400 young runners will also be taking part in the Ealing Mini Mile.
