Christmas Jumper Day is returning for 2015, giving you the perfect excuse to compete with your pals when it comes to finding the most over-the-top garment.

This Christmas, why not get involved and help to raise some money for Save The Children?

When is Christmas Jumper Day 2015?

It's taking place on Friday December 18. Last year it took place on December 12... Why not check out our gallery of pictures of last year's efforts?

How do I get involved?

Just wear your favourite Christmas jumper for the whole day!

It can be one you already own; you can decorate an existing jumper with festive decorations, or even knit your own.

Christmas Jumper Day is popular with schools and workplaces... But maybe don't join in this year if you're a police officer, chef or doctor. Your uniform is there for a reason!

How does it raise money for charity?

It's the annual fundraising campaign for Save The Children when people are encouraged to make the world better with a sweater but wearing a Christmas jumper and making a minimum donation of £1.

Isn't the ITV annual Text Santa campaign involved too?

Text Santa is also taking place on Friday December 18 so the presenters - Amanda Holden, Olly Murs, Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield, Stephen Mulhern, Alesha Dixon and Paddy McGuinness - will all be wearing their festive sweaters.

Funds raised on the night from Text Santa will go to Save The Children, Macmillan Cancer Support and Make-A-Wish UK.
