A Local photographer has indulged in the Christmas spirit early this year by publishing not only a book of his own work but also one for a contemporary of his.
Andrew Wilson already had books of photographs taken around places like Chiswick, Putney and Hammersmith to his name but has now added two more in time for this festive season.
Wild About Twickenham sees Mr Wilson attempting to capture all that is best about the town which links the outskirts and centre of London via the river Thames.
Meanwhile - as its name suggests - A Year In The Life of Bushy Park shows all that is splendid about the famous park located near Hampton Court Palace.
The photos are taken by Joanna Jackson and follow her year-long exploration of the site detailing the history of the different aspects in an informative but beautiful fashion. Following the seasons, she shows how picturesque the park is all year round, and that even when the bushes aren’t at their liveliest, the grasslands are still breathtaking.
She is also a published author having written A Year in the Life of Richmond
Park, which to date has sold in excess of 13,000 copies.
