After a 13 year absence from our television screens , the hugely popular Blind Date is preparing to make a comeback.

While new presenter is yet to be confirmed after the sad passing of the legendary Cilla Black in 2015, the search for new contestants is now on for Blind Date's big return, as was announced last month

Channel 5 needs people to take part in the much-loved dating show.

Hopeful singletons are being urged to apply for the revamped show before the March 12 deadline.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over and must live in the UK.

They must also not be employed or be related to a Channel 5, So Television, Stellify employee.

Several names are being mooted for the presenter job, including Vicky Pattison and Olly Murs, but a final decision is yet to be made.
