Aspiring waiters will take part in a bizarre egg-and-spoon style race to win work experience at a prestigious London restaurant.
Students from around the capital will take part in the dash across Hyde Park on May 21 - which is National Waiters Day - carrying a tray with glass and bottle.
The winner of the National Waiters Day race will be crowned fastest student and win a week's work experience at the Michelin star restaurant Galvin at Windows.
In addition to the race, visitors to London Hyde Park can take part in a range of have-a-go activities that demonstrate ‘front of house’ skills showcased by key sponsors and partners.
The race, sponsored by Bunzl Catering Supplies, GOJO and ISS will take place at 3.30pm.
