West Brompton: The Finborough Theatre presents Murder and Faith a powerful and hard-hitting new play about what happens when the truth becomes too dangerous to reveal.

In Facts, a prominent American archaeologist is found murdered while working in the West Bank, killed by a single bullet to the heart.

Inspired by true stories, two detectives – one Israeli, one Palestinian – must put aside their differences to find the killer and negotiate the dangerous boundaries between facts and faith.

The play will run at the theatre, in Finborough Road, from Tuesday, February 26 to Saturday, March 23. Tickets range from £10 to £16 and are available at www.finboroughtheatre.co.uk or by calling 0844 847 1652.

South Kensington: The Victoria and Albert Museum is hosting 'An alternative view' - a special event on Saturday, February 23, as part of the Celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender History Month.

Drop in for the chance to see curators discuss alternative readings of museum objects, discover the histories of the people who made them and explore how sexual identity can inform the way we interpret the past.

The free drop-in session will run from 1pm to 5pm. For more information, visit www.vam.ac.uk

Hammersmith: Head down to the Lyric Theatre tomorrow (Saturday) for a dose of storytelling and a nourishing breakfast.

Puppets and live music are on the menu for the Jack at the Beanstalk Cafe event, which is running twice, at 11am and at 1pm. Tickets cost £8, or £30 for a family of four. The shows last for 45 minutes and are suitable for children aged four
to eight.

While there, families can also participate in the London Children’s Book Swap, where they are encouraged to bring old books and swap them for other people’s. Visit www.lyric.co.uk
