AUDIENCES will once again be guessing 'whodunnit?' when the Official Agatha Christie Theatre Company's UK wide tour of Go Back For Murder arrives at Richmond Theatre.
The production will be at Richmond for a week from Monday 24 to Saturday 29 June, with a heavyweight cast Liza Goddard, as Miss Williams, screen star and cover model Sophie Ward, whose extensive TV and film credits most recently include the award-winning BBC period drama Land Girls. Robert Duncan, fondly remembered for his role as jargon spouting chief executive Gus Hedges in Channel 4’s Drop The Dead Donkey also stars as does Lysette Anthony - described as the ‘face of the eighties’ by super photographer, David Bailey.
Carla Le Marchant has to live with a disturbing family secret; her mother, Caroline Crale, died in prison while serving life for killing her husband. But on finding a letter in which Caroline claims that she’s innocent, Carla becomes obsessed, determined to clear her mother’s name. Enlisting the help of Justin Fogg, the son of Caroline’s defense lawyer, Carla tracks down a number of people from her mother’s tragic past, only to uncover a shocking truth…
'Suspects, secrets, and suspense abound' in this new production of Go Back For Murder described as a "classic ‘Whodunit’ packed with intrigue, murder and suspense". Go Back For Murder was adapted by Dame Agatha Christie in 1960 from her novel Five Little Pigs, editing out the legendary detective Poirot for the stage version. She has sold over two billion books and is outsold only by the Bible and Shakespeare.
