A Pinner theatre company will be putting on a production of an Edwardian drama in the village this November.

Pinner Players will be performing The Voysey Inheritance at Pinner Village Hall in Chapel Lane,Pinner,on November 13, 14 and 15 from 7.45pm.

Sue Cash, director, said: "This Edwardian drama concerns an upper-middle-class family thrown into scandal. Edward, the highly principled son, finds his world turned upside down when his father,a solicitor, reveals that he has been illegally speculating with clients' money.

"This enjoyable portrait of an Edwardian family was first staged in 1905 and revived at the National Theatre in 2006.

"It is particularly topical in the light of recent financial scandals, which show there is nothing new in our present world."
