Another exciting steaming line-up for all the family is planned at the Kempton Steam Museum in Hanworth this weekend.

From a pair of military vehicles, courtesy of the Royal Logistic Museum, to stationary steam engines, there will be something for all transport enthusiasts.

Engine buffs will be out displaying their prized possessions from Fowlers and Crossleys to Ransom, Rustons and Gardners, all which have been lovingly restored by their owners. There will also be a chance to tuck into some homemade cakes after exploring the vehicles on show.

Then there's always the triple-expansion steam engine which will also be in action, as will Darent, the 1903 locomotive, giving rides to visitors on Saturday and Sunday.

The first steaming weekend of the year was held in March attracting hundreds of train enthusiasts to through the front gates.

Doors open at 10.30am. Free parking available.
