It has been years in the making but Uxbridge finally has its own Primark store - but what are shoppers thinking about the opening?
Some people are raising questions about the quality of clothing, although this was disputed by another shopper who said her clothes had lasted years.
The discount fashion retailer opened its doors at 10am on Saturday (March 25) with keen shoppers queuing back along High Street to the Costa Coffee.
Other readers were delighted with the organisation of the opening event during a hectic day.
Hillingdon's Mayor, Councillor John Hensley, and store manager Andrew Kennedy cut the ribbon to mark the official opening.
Other getwestlondon readers were not so excited about Primark making it into the news.

Cllr Hensley said: ““The arrival of Primark in Uxbridge is a welcome development to the centre of Uxbridge – in one of our principle shopping centres.
“The new store will encourage local people to come to Uxbridge, adding to the vibrancy of our town centre, as well as providing additional employment. It is a pleasure to be invited to the opening of this store”.
Some readers are keen, regardless of the queues.
