The multi-coloured miniature veggies form part of the retailer's Oaklands Fun Size range , which encourages children to eat their five a day.
But to be honest, having bought a couple of packs myself, 30-year-old me was excited to eat them too.
At £1 per 350g pack, you'll find a medley of yellow, orange and purple Chantenay carrots.
With no need to chop or peel (unless of course you really want to...), I gave them a quick rinse and then popped them in a saucepan to cook.
The cute and appetizing vegetables were not the only ingredient to add a touch of magic to my dinner plate.
This month Lidl expanded its fun size range further with a number of seasonal products perfect for Christmas Day including Rudolph noses (mini red potatoes), Santa sprouts (mini Brussels sprouts), penguin parsnippers (baby parsnips) and snowman snouts (baby carrots).
As with the unicorn carrots, I gave them a wash and then cooked straight away, finishing the parsnips off in the oven to roast with a drizzle of maple syrup.
Lidl's mini festive range is ideal for little mouths, but they are just as exciting (and tasty) for big kids too.
