Once reserved for the rich, this year has seen a battle of the discount hot tubs, with the likes of Asda, Argos, Homebase and Amazon all competing for the best bargain.

And as Surrey basks in the beautiful sunshine, we take a look at what you can get for your money in the world of bargain hot tubs.


A number of hot tubs are available at Argos.

The cheapest is the Miami two to four person Lay-Z-Spa hot tub at £319.99.

For £389.99 the tub has a simple, sleek blue finish and can accommodate up to six people.

Asda offers the same Lay-Z-Spa Vegas hot tub for £375- £14.99 cheaper than it is at Argos.

The tub comes with a temperature and filtration system and a massage option that shoots water through 80 turbo jets.

The lowest priced hot tub at B&Q is the Bestway Lay-Z-Spa Miami for £347.

This Lay-Z-Spa Miami Hot tub is the perfect way to indulge in some luxury in the comfort of your own garden.

It has 81 spa jets and is meant to fit up to four people. Reviews say it is fast and easy to set up.

This is followed by the Canadian Spa Rio Grand which costs £640.


Homebase has the Lay-Z-Spa Vegas at £336 - £53.99 cheaper than at Argos.

Also in their range is the Lay-Z-Spa New York for £399 and the Hawaii for £499.

The Range has the cheapest hot tub, with the Lay-Z-Spa Havana at £299.99.

It is a blue inflatable tub that can fit two to four adults.


Amazon has a host of hot tubs, the cheapest being the Lay-Z-Spa Miami for £348.94.

And if all of these are beyond your means, Asda has been making a splash with this latest offer - a giant inflatable family pool which costs just £30.
