American classical guitarist David Leisner is playing just two recitals in London as part of his 2009 tour, one of which is in Harrow next week.

The world-renowned virtuoso typically performs numbers from composers such as Bach, Villa-Lobos and Schubert alongside pieces he has written himself.

Professional local pianist Colin Stone said: "We are incredibly lucky to have persuaded David Leisner to come and play in Harrow during his UK tour

. "He is one of the world's finest guitarists and an important composer, so it will be a special evening."

David's concert begins at 7.45pm on Saturday, February 28, at St Mary's Church in Church Lane, Harrow on the Hill.

Tickets are £12, but admission is free for accompanied children and full-time students.
