FROM Grammy Award winners Mary Mary to X Factor finalist Rachel Hylton, next month's Oraclez Gospel Festival is already being described as the most anticipated gospel music event ever to hit these shores.

Pure Genius Entertainment have spent a year putting the jam-packed night together which will see RnB and hip-hop acts from both sides of the Atlantic, including Kirk Franklin, Ce-Ce Winans and many more take to the stage at Wembley Arena.

One of the most recognisable and successful acts on the bill is the duo Mary Mary, who are said to be looking forward to visiting the borough.

But it is not just a US invasion. In addition to those American artists gracing the stage there will be a host of home-grown acts including 2007 MOBO award winner Jahaziel, a hip-hop artist who has featured on tracks with artists such as Lemar and Craig David.

And joining him will be X Factor finalist Rachel Hylton, from nearby Stanmore, who has battled a drug addiction and came fifth in the hit TV show.

The concert, which is called Oraclez - meaning God-given message and will take place on Bank Holiday Monday (May 4), is the largest gospel show ever to take place in the UK and tickets are priced between £35 and £65.
