Saxophonist Hayley Lambert will perform a programme of music written by female composers, including Lori Laitman’s beautiful and haunting I Never Saw Another Butterfly.

There is also a French connection to the programme with Paule Maurice’s masterpiece Tableaux de Provence and works by Ida Gotkovsky and Fernande Decruck.

Hayley will be joined by the critically acclaimed pianist Paul Turner and fabulous soprano, Aileen Thomson.

The sax player studied at the Royal College of Music and has performed at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and live on Radio 3’s In Tune with the award-winning Zephirus saxophone quartet.

She has worked with some of the country’s top orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Ballet Sinfonia and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
