THE third concert of the 08/09 season of jazz at Pinner Parish Church takes place on Saturday, December 6, with a performance by Andy Cooper's Top Eight.

The band was formed in 1996 and play a diverse range of music described as "smile-on-your-face Dixieland".

Andy was clarinettist with Kenny Ball for years and is a feisty player who knows how to entertain.

With trumpeter Mike Cotton, trombonist Ian Bateman and the ever-youthful John Barnes juggling his saxophones, this is a roaring band that will set you up for Christmas and, probably, New Year as well.

The concert takes place at Pinner Parish Church, Church Lane, Pinner, at 8pm, with the doors opening at 7.20pm. Ticket prices range from £10 to £16 and can be booked on 020 8429 1260. More information can be found at www.pinnerjazz.org.uk .
