This summer, at Ealing's St Barnabas Church, special gala prom concerts will entertain local music-lovers.

The concerts will run from Monday July 27 to Friday August 7, with concerts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. The Proms will end with the famous Last Night of the Proms gala on Friday August 7.

A spokesman for the concerts said: "All concerts feature outstanding musicians playing immortal masterpieces by popular composers. They provide perfect summer entertainment for all local music-lovers.

"Concerts are held 'in the round' so the audience is close to the musicians, and we have a first-rate grand piano previously used by the BBC for broadcasts, and a big screen so everyone can see the musicians."

Admission to all evening concerts is £10 or £5 for young people. The Last Night of the Proms is £20, and the Opera Gala on Friday July 31 is £15. All proceeds go towards the St Barnabas Funds.
