On Saturday (March 21), intu Uxbridge is launching its competition to find the busker of the year 2015.
The lucky winner will receive a prize package worth over £500 from local recording studio RnR Studios.
The competition will run throughout the year, with shoppers able to vote for their favourite performer, as well as on the intu Uxbridge Facebook page.
Coinciding with National Learn to Play Day, the challenge will aim to encourage the public to learn a new musical instrument.
Anyone can enter, just send a short clip of yourself playing to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject #BuskerOfTheYear, including a short biography of yourself.
The competition will not be without a famous face: Britain's Got Talent finalist James Smith will be launching the competition along with intu.
Craig Higgins, intu Uxbridge's marketing manager, said “We’re thrilled to be launching our Busker of the Year competition this weekend, with the fantastic James Smith from Britain’s Got Talent joining us to kickstart the fun.
