Reading Festival has only just ended, but organisers have already announced an early bird ticket release for eager fans who want to get planning for next year's event.

A limited number of Reading Festival 2017 tickets, taking place across the August bank holiday weekend, are available at the same price as this year's event.

After performances from artists including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Disclosure, The 1975 and Foals, it's likely that thousands of music fans will be jumping at the chance to head to next year's event.

If you want to get your hands on an early bird ticket then it will be a first come, first served basis.

When is Reading Festival 2017?

The event takes place across August bank holiday weekend every year, so in 2017 it will be Thursday August 24 to Sunday August 27.

The annual music festival is held at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading.

Where can I get tickets?

The official ticket partner is Ticketmaster so you can purchase pre-sale tickets from the website here .

Currently the only tickets available are weekend camping which is priced at £213. Plus you can purchase an early entry pass for the Wednesday at £20.

How do I get to Reading Festival 2017?

Coach packages are not currently available for those who want to be really organised for next year, but the official partner is Big Green Coach which departs from 44 locations in the UK.
