Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have announced a headline show at London's Victoria Park for 2018.

The band will perform on Sunday June 3 as part of All Points East Festival.

They will close the ten-day event of live music with support from Patti Smith, St Vincent and Courtney Barnett.

In 2016 the band released sixteenth studio album Skeleton Tree, which was accompanied by the documentary One More Time with Feeling which focused on the aftermath of Cave's son's death.

Both the album and film went on to receive critical acclaim, with the album reaching number two on the UK album chart.

Earlier this year they kicked off a world tour, marking their first live shows in three years and included a UK tour.

They performed at the O2 Arena, as well as Bournemouth's BIC where fans 'peacefully' invaded the stage.

All Points East Festival kicks off on May 25 with a three day festival featuring The xx, Bjork and LCD Soundsystem.

It then runs throughout the week and into the following weekend which sees a headline set from The National on June 2.
