Outdoor music festival Boomfest, held at Hounslow Urban Farm, in Feltham, is back for some more May Day Bank Holiday fundraising madness.

Boomfest 2015 will see rising name in the UK's underground music circuit DJ S.K.T on stage along with a string of other house DJs spinning the decks including Mampi Swift & IC3, Ratpack, Rinse FMs Sam Supplier, Jess Bays and back by popular demand KISS FM DJ Pioneer, on May 2.

The event, presented by Boom Nights, an events company in west London, wants to smash last year's fundraising amount of £9,000 to give the family-run farm on Faggs Road a chance to boost its donation metre so work can begin on building a new Tropical Zoo at the site.

Crowds at last year's event

Organiser Michael Kennedy from Boom Nights, said: "We built a base crowd last year (2014) with not much time to organise it in. This time we have time on our side, we're going bigger and better with the acts/DJs, covering more age range for a bigger crowd to raise more money for the farm charity."

Founders Tony Purdy and daughter, Alice, who were forced to move from their former site at Syon Park a few years ago and re-house their wild animals until they could build another zoo.

They found another home at the Hounslow Urban Farm, where they were able to bring some of their animals, but need £2m to see the project through - £500,000 to haul in the builders to start work and the remaining money to complete an education conservation and a rescue centre where they can bring back the rest of their flock.

Boomfest 2015 will be held at the Hounslow Urban Farm on Faggs Road, Feltham, on Saturday May 2, from 7pm till 1am. Tickets cost £15. Over 18s only.
