LCD Soundsystem are joining the All Points East Festival lineup in 2018.

The group will open the all-new Victoria Park event on May 25.

The show will be one of their biggest headline shows in the UK to date.

They will be supported by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Glass Animals, Richie Hawtin, Dixon and George FitzGerald.

In September the group released their fourth studio album 'American Dream', which marked their first release in seven years.

It received critical acclaim and topped the US Billboard Charts whilst reaching number three in the UK.

The show is part of a new London event which takes place across 10 days, with a three-day festival being kicked off by LCD Soundsystem, The xx and Bjork on May 25-27.

This will be followed by a community focused programme of midweek entertainment and three huge APE Presents headline shows including The National on June 2.
