American artist J. Cole has announced details of a world tour.

The hip hop rapper and producer will perform at the O2 Arena on Sunday October 15.

His "4 Your Eyez Only" tour kicks off in the US with 13 intimate shows before he embarks on a 57-date arena tour.

It is in support of his recent fourth studio album of the same name which received positive reviews and landed on XXL and Rolling Stone's best albums of 2016 lists.

He will also play in the likes of Nottingham, Birmingham and Manchester during the UK leg of the tour.

In 2015 he played a sold out show at the O2 Arena as part of the highest-selling hip hop tour of the year.

Cole achieved mainstream success after signing to Roc Nation following a buzz surrounding his mixtapes and appearing on tracks with fellow rappers Jay-Z and B.o.B.
