Iron Maiden have announced a headline show at the O2 Arena in 2018.

They will return to the London venue on August 10 as part of the Legacy Of The Beast World Tour.

The tour, which was inspired by Maiden’s mobile game and comic book of the same name will see the stage set design featuring a number of different but interlocking “worlds”.

Meanwhile a set list will cover a large selection of Eighties material with a handful of surprises from later albums to add diversity continuing their 'History/Hits' tours.

Last weekend the group teased an announcement with a 20-second video featuring the opening of 'For the Greater Good of God'.

Plus it featured iconic artwork from albums Piece of Mind, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son and Somewhere in Time, leading fans to speculate a re-release, live DVD or greatest hits tour.

The group previously visited the O2 Arena in May this year for a sold out show as part of The Book of Souls World Tour.

They have played more than 2,000 live shows across their career and have achieved five number albums in the UK.
