Bright distortion, riffs, grooves and attitude are the key ingredients of Bedfordshire's vibrant four-piece known as The Relights. And what's more is that they're bringing that collection of attributes (and a few more I'm sure) to Uxbridge this Friday (June 19) when they play a welcome return gig at The Crown and Treaty on Oxford Road.

If you're a fan of Oasis, Charlatans, Inspiral Carpets and/or Happy Mondays, then this gig will certainly float your boat.

The Relights relight that '90s psychedelic indie Britpop flame and keep it burning as well as a demonstrating a signature that is truly their own.

Free now is a song on their Soundcloud with "hit" written all over it.

Caracara, from Hertfordshire, share the bill on Friday. Smooth in parts and punchy in others, Caracara's brand of ambient indie guitar anthems show a how this awesome foursome know a thing or two about composition and arrangements. Now to witness their performance is all that remains.

As usual it's free entry to The Crown and Treaty before 10pm and £5 after. The first band should hit the stage at around 10.30pm.
