Coming all the way from Beaconsfield to HayesFM this Tuesday December 22 are the raw-voiced riff masters know as Salt.

After recently witnessing Salt blitzing the Crown and Treaty crowds I was eager to have them on my radio show and my invitation was duly accepted.

Salt's sound is wild and alive like Iggy Pop meets Kings Of Leon. It's tight and precise but with enough distortion and rough edges to keep the realness burning bright.

Singer Frankie Lord makes an outstanding front man as he lashes "rock and roll is dead but it's coming back alive" from his guttural larynx with undeniable conviction.

All Salt have to offer is exhilarating to say the least.

Tune in at 9pm on Tuesday December 22 right here or on your radio on 91.8FM.

Here's a heads up for all live music fans to get yourselves down to the Crown and Treaty pub in Oxford Road, Uxbridge on Christmas Eve for the band known as Boys. They've finished recording their début single with Max Bloom and thought it would make sense to play their final show of the year at the Treaty's YUCK Indie Club Night. Tickets cost £5 in advance from the pub and a little more on the door on the night.

Tune into my interactive HayesFM radio show every Tuesday at 9pm for more local music news. You can find HayesFM on 91.8FM in London or GLOBAL online .
