Happy Mondays have revealed details of a UK and Ireland greatest hits tour for 2017.

The legendary "Madchester" alt-rock group will play a date at the London Roundhouse on November 16.

The Manchester-based band features brothers Shaun and Paul Ryder and Bez who gained success in the 80s with debut album "Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)".

This tour entitled "Twenty Four Hour Party People" is in celebration of their 30th anniversary and based on their debut album and film of the same name.

The 2002 film follows the story of the Madchester scene which kicked off with the punk rock era in the 70s and moved through to rave and psychedelic music.

Happy Mondays also featured on the soundtrack and starred in the film.
