Evanescence have added an extra London date to their 2018 Synthesis UK tour due to huge demand.

The group will now perform at Hammersmith's Eventim Apollo on April 9.

The shows are in support of their upcoming Synthesis, which is due for release on November 10.

It features the band's previously released material and two new songs with an orchestral arrangement.

Evanescence have already sold out a number of dates on their Synthesis Tour

They previously announced two dates at London's Royal Festival Hall which have now sold out, as well as shows in Sheffield and Manchester.

The tour will see them accompanied by a live orchestra to perform tracks including 'Bring Me To Life', 'My Immortal' and 'Lithium'.

They go on sale at 9am on Friday October 27.
