Ed Sheeran has confirmed a huge stadium tour for 2018 as part of the ÷ (divide) tour.

The singer-songwriter has followed his Glastonbury set with the news of two Wembley Stadium shows.

He confirmed on Twitter to his 19 million followers that he will head to London on June 15-16.

It will mark his biggest headline tour to date as he kicks it off in Belfast on May 9.

This is not the first time Ed has played Wembley, after he performed to more than 220,000 fans in 2015.

He broke records becoming the first solo artist to play three sold-out consecutive nights.

His welcomed return is likely to be a popular one as his recent arena tour sold out in minutes, including O2 Arena shows.

Despite some criticism when the lineup was revealed, Ed Sheeran proved the doubters wrong with a recent storming closing set at Glastonbury 2017.
