World Gin Day is an annual tradition that celebrates the iconic drink.
This distinctive taste makes it a favourite for bars all over the world, of which London has many.
This year, World Gin Day takes place on Saturday June 10.
There are lots of events going on in the capital so, if you're a fan of the spirit, and want to celebrate World Gin Day in style, take a look at the events below.
Junipalooza is back at Tobacco Dock on June 10 to June 11, with more events, more masterclasses and more gins than ever before.
Makers behind each gin will be there to talk you through their product.
Every gin is free to sample -they even give you the option to drink neat or with tonic.
More than 40 gin brands will be in available, with more than 100 varieties on offer between them.
Once through the door, you’ll be handed a tasting glass and off you go to taste you way through the next four hours.
Tickets include as many samples as you’d like to try, as well as access to a range of talks and masterclasses from industry experts, and a cocktail bar.
The festival is £30 per person.
There is a morning and afternoon session.

Merchant Square are to launch a new pop-up bar on London’s premier "Floating Pocket Park" in Paddington Basin on the Grand Union Canal.
Opening on Saturday to celebrate World Gin Day, the Botanical Bar will serve an eclectic and imaginative range of gins and gin cocktails.
It will serve signature cocktails such as "We’ve Got The Whole World Gin Our Hands" made with premium Beefeater 24 and topped off with fresh lavender and lemon balm.
The floating Botanical Bar is the perfect setting to watch the sun go down with a G&T or enjoy a warm summer evening with a gin cocktail in your hand.

A world-class line-up of London’s best bars and bartenders, mixing brilliant drinks with their favourite London gin brands to mark World Gin Day.
Tickets will be on sale for 300 gin-lovers and includes 10 great cocktails and a voting card to decide the winning gin cocktail of the day.
It takes place on Saturday June 10, 12pm to 6pm.

Beefeater House Party
On Saturday June 10, Beefeater will throw open the doors of its iconic gin distillery to host the ultimate gin infused house party; a joint celebration of World Gin Day and the culmination of the popular London Tonic Series.
The Beefeater World Gin Day House Party will take place over two sessions on Saturday 10 June 2017, from 1.30pm until 3.30pm and 3.30pm until 5.30pm.
Tickets for Beefeater World Gin Day House Party performances cost £5 each and this includes entry to one session (either music or spoken word) and two free drinks.
There is also a chance to book onto both sessions and enjoy four cocktails for £10. It is open from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

The Captain Cook Pub in Fulham will be hosting Gin4June for the month of June to celebrate World Gin Day.
They will have special gin cocktails on the menu every day and a weekly competition on Instagram to win a bar tab.

International Flight at 214 Bermondsey
In honour of World Gin Day 214 Bermondsey will have a special version of one of our gin tasting flights during the month of June.
This is to be off menu and can only be ordered by stating “I’m here to check in for the international flight.”
The flight consists of Four Pillars (Australia), Bathtub (England), Deaths Door (USA) gins and a bottle of BTW Tonic Water.

Cahoots and Beefeater 24 hour exclusive cocktail
In celebration of all things gin, Cahoots has partnered with Beefeater 24 to create an exclusive World Gin Day cocktail, named "The Bee’s Knees".
The disused 1940s underground tube station will be adding the limited edition cocktail to its eclectic drinks menu.
The cocktail will feature Beefeater 24, Kamm & Sons, lemon juice, spicy honey, liquorice bitters and will be topped up with ginger beer. It will be garnished with a sprinkling of mint, orange peel and lemon zest.

Artisanal Occitan Gin Masterclass and Italian lunch
Ritorno Chelsea will be holding an Occitan Gin masterclass from artisanal distiller Bordiga liquori on World Gin Day.
Discover the art of alpine distillation and Italy’s oldest gin with freud bar.
Before learning to shake it like a pro as Ritorno’s Paolo viola hits the bar to mix up some devilishly good occitan serves.
Recipe ideas, taste tests and the hottest gins in town followed by a beautiful two course lunch and tailored cocktail experience from the masterful chefs and mixologists at Ritorno.
Guests stand a chance of winning a Ritorno hamper on the day.
Tickets are £29 per person for a Saturday packed full of incredible food, drink and your favourite new gins.

World Gin Day at Benares
Benares is celebrating all the gins from across London with a special cocktail list available at the bar, dedicated to all the gins from around the world.
Also on World Gin Day, the Mayfair restaurant will be launching the ticket selling of the Gin pairing Dinner event on Wednesday July 5, where guests will enjoy a five course Sipsmith Gin inspired dinner made up of an amuse bouche, salmon, duck, sorbet and dessert course.
All courses will feature a Gin taster and short history into the distillation process of said gin.

The Gin Journey London takes you through some of the world’s finest cocktail bars, you’ll visit one of the capital’s ground breaking distilleries, be supplied with London’s tastiest gins and most of you’ll have a lovely time.

FREE G&T at Gillray’s Steakhouse and Bar
