Original Sin seems a fitting name for a bar that offers three Christmas cocktails at once to customers in December.

Located in Stoke Newington High Street it's authentically hard to spot a speakeasy and this was no different.

You enter through an almost hidden door and step straight on to a darkly lit staircase which winds down and opens out onto a cosy and compact bar.

There's a pool table at one end and leather-benched booths run along the rest, opposite a long chrome bar.

Everything in the room, from the leathers seats, brick walls and even the felt of the pool table is toasty shade of brown.

This December Original Sin is offering three new twists on the classic winter cocktail - the snowball.

You can try three takes on the snowball cocktail at Original Sin this Christmas

For those of you that haven't heard of a snowball (neither had I) it's a festive tipple traditionally made with Warnincks advocaat, lemonade and lime.

Original Sin's snowball flights consists of three new spins on the cocktail - each celebrating a different aspect of Christmas.

We were first served The Snowflake which features Warninks mixed with gin, maraschino liqueur, topped with cava and lemon juice and a maraschino cherry on the top.

This lighter cocktail is bound to be a hit with sparkling wine fans.

It's fresh and tangy and the first of the flight, it goes down a little too easily.

The second tipple - Saint Nick- was undoubtedly my favourite. Made from Warninks, Calvados, triple sec and fresh lemon juice and topped with mulled Breton cider.

The glass was garnished with an orange slice and cinnamon rim that made it a go-to toasty tipple.

The Garland is made with Warninks, amontillado sherry, spiced rum, topped with ginger ale and garnished with candied ginger.

Last but by no means least came the Garland.

This gingery drink was made with Warninks, amontillado sherry, spiced rum, topped with ginger ale and garnished with candied ginger.

It packed a fruity punch that smacked of Christmas pudding and revived us from our three-cocktail stuper.

Cocktail fans looking for the ultimate festive indulgence would be hard-pushed to beat Original Sin's snowball flight.

The bar's classic, slightly clandestine feel makes it the perfect place to cosy up over one (or three) Christmas cocktails.

The Warninks Snowball Flight at Original Sin runs until December 31, 2017.
