Last week saw the arrival of September and we can already feel a slight chill in the air.

But for coffee-lovers, or those who simply can't resist a sweet treat, the autumnal season doesn't start until Starbucks brings back its pumpkin spice latte.

Lovingly nicknamed the PLT, the drink is made with a mix of traditional fall spice flavours, steamed milk, and espresso, topped with whipped cream.

And in just a few short days, you'll be able to start enjoying them once again. They will be back in stores from Thursday, September 7.

The warm, sweet drink is the perfect treat, especially with Halloween and Bonfire Night coming up.

At the moment, the coffee chain is still selling its summer drinks including the Cool Lime Refresha, which is made with fruit juice, mint and lime slice shaken green coffee extract.

But if you can't wait for your pumpkin spice fix then why not try the frappuccino version? It's made with all the taste of a PSL blended with ice.

Rather unfairly, the PSL, is already available in stores in America.
