The Little Bay restaurant in Belsize Road, Kilburn is buried in between the slightly dirty but trendy streets of north west London and is a superb place to wine and dine.

The decor is comforting, warm and cosy and has a vibrant atmosphere to the small premises, a perfect place to go on a frosty and cold evening in London.

The restaurant offers a variety of modern European cuisine and has been open since 1992.

My friend and I both chose the same starter which was a goats cheese pastry, the portion was a good size and very enjoyable.

I moved onto the duck cooked two ways main, which was quite rich but still delicious, it was cooked to perfection and the buried cabbage and sauce complimented the dish well.

My friend chose the classic burger, which came with a yummy relish and chips.

The menu has something on it for everyone, lamb, fish, duck, chicken, salads, their a-la-carte and specials menus host a sumptuous variety of dishes including a number of vegetarian ones.

They also offer a selection of reasonably priced wines, champagnes, spirits and soft drinks.

REVIEW: The Little Bay restaurant in Kilburn is nestled in Belsize Road.

The food here is very good value for your money, however the selling point to the place is definitely the atmosphere and decor.

Instead of just having tables and chairs, they have booths and balconies which fire up the imagination and are ideal for romantic date nights or a fun birthday dinner with friends.

The service was impeccable, all of the staff were welcoming and very pleasant, my friend left her hat and scarf behind and one of the waitresses ran after us all the way down the street-an extremely kind gesture.

The dessert was delicious, unfortunately we couldn't finish the cheesecake and the chocolate profiteroles.

The restaurant is simply divine, I would recommend it to anyone, the prices are low, atmosphere is fantastic and the setting is unique, we had a highly enjoyable evening and I will definitely be returning with more friends and family.

It is nestled on Belsize Road, just off the main Kilburn High Road so there are plenty of transport hubs including Kilburn High Road Overground Station and Kilburn Park Station on the Bakerloo Line.
