A new pub in Fulham received a blessing from above following its official opening last week.

The nautically-themed Blue Boat pub was opened on March 23 by two-time world champion and Olympic rowing medallist Sarah Winckless. And the following day it was given a blessing by Fullers Brewery honorary chaplain Rev Andrew Downes.

The riverside pub, in Distillery Wharf, is part of the new Fulham Reach development by St George.

General manager Nina Dahl said: “It is amazing being part of a new pub opening, it’s been a busy few months and we are all looking forward to welcoming our customers through the doors.

“The Blue Boat is an inspiring space not just for dining but also for enjoying a drink with fantastic river views.”
