Game of Thrones fans should make a journey to Westeros - sorry, we mean Morrisons - this Easter as there's a very special chocolate treat on offer.

The supermarket is selling chocolate dragon eggs, based on Daenerys Targaryen's beloved creatures - which she refers to as her 'children' in the series.

In the show, the eggs hatched in the series one finale, and grew up to become enormous dragons, called Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion.

Morrisons' egg is 20 cm high and is part of its The Best range. It is made from rich Belgian milk chocolate and has a dusting of ruby red and gold edible glitter on it.

Alan Edkins, Easter Egg Buyer at Morrisons said: "'Our ‘Mother’ of all Easter eggs is likely to cause a ‘storm’ ‘born’ of fearless shoppers and fans looking to get their hands on a truly legendary egg.”

This fantasy-inspired offering is a great way for fans to get their fix of the show, before it returns to our screens in 2019, for the eighth and final series.

Filming for the upcoming series began last year but the script is being kept under wraps.

Morrisons' dragon eggs cost £6 each and are available to buy in stores now, you can get one here .
