I am already planning when I can to return to Sugar Mill in Wembley simply to eat their entire dessert menu.

Sticky toffee pudding is an achilles heel for me so as soon as I spotted it, I just had to eat it.

My boyfriend, Dave, enjoyed the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice-cream. Prices are not too bad either starting from £4.95 to £9.95.

You can try their 'mystery' chocolate bomb for £12.95 (what is in it I cannot tell you as it is a secret.)

You can have pancakes, waffles, churros, Eton mess, apple crumble - you name it.

A family had drove all the way from Kent just to try these desserts now that is dedication!

But if desserts ain't your bag, that's okay because their menu has lots of different options for you to choose from.

To start with I had hummus, tzatziki and olives served with a garlic flat bread while Dave had sweet chili prawns with pineapple served with garlic cheese bread.

Both were absolutely delicious and other starters they had available looked lovely too - I could have ordered them all.

Starter prices began at £4.95 to £6.95.

For his main course Dave ordered the maple glazed roast chicken with vegetable ratatouile with rosemary fries and garlic butter.

I decided to try the Sugar Mill sliders which you can choose two or three small burgers.

I had the grilled halloumi with peppers and tiger prawn for my duo and I was not disappointed.

For my side dish I went for the dirty chili fries which are chips coated in sweet chili sauce with melted cheese on top - delicious.

Sticky toffee pudding - the place is well known for their desserts!

The sliders, however, are not available on arena or stadium event days but they do other three beers for £10.

If you do not want a small burger, or a burger at all fear not, the menu has other dishes to offer.

Prices range from £9.95 for a main to £16.95 for the beef rump and if you are a vegetarian, there are lots of choices to choose from.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff welcoming and friendly. I cannot comment too much on the drinks as I had a sparkling water and a cup of tea - quite old lady yes.

Chocolate fondant

What I can say is, my glass of water was never left empty adding to the overall service and experience.

The restaurant has now launched its Christmas menu offering four courses for £24.95 - something not to be missed if you are planning a Christmas party of meal with the folks.

There is the usual on offer including roasted turkey but you can also have a Galloway steak, potato gnocchi or sea bass if you wanted to try something different.

I would highly recommend anyone to visit the restaurant as it was a special treat to find near Wembley Stadium.

Owner Tina Siddiqui has got this place just right.
