Fans of Japanese icon Hello Kitty are in for a treat at London's very own Hello Kitty Cafe pop-up.
The character has returned to her hometown - she was created in London in 1974 - for six weeks at Tombo Cafe's new location in Fitzrovia.
From September 1 to October 8, the menu will be taken over by Hello Kitty inspired dishes and treats, including a Hello Kitty special poké bowl, Hello Kitty ice cream sundaes, Hello Kitty cupcakes, and other desserts.

Fans of matcha will enjoy as their drinks are served in cups with exclusive designs to give an added wow factor to the drinks.
Tombo has also created a line of Hello Kitty tea, including ceremonial grade matcha tins and matcha latte mix. There is also a special new flavour Kukicha green tea infused with yuzu: a popular citrus fruit in Japan rich in antioxidants.
As if that's not enough of the fun feline, special edition tote bags, postcards and posters of Hello Kitty's tea ceremony and tea picker designs are also on sale.
The merchandise and some of the limited edition items will also be available at Tombo's Soho and Kensington locations.
Since her creation in London in 1974, Hello Kitty has become a global icon and one of the most recognisable characters in the world. Short of catching a plane to Tokyo, this could be your best chance to immerse yourself in the culture.
The Hello Kitty pop-up is open from September 1 to October 8 at Tombo Fitzrovia, 4 Windmill Street, W1 2JL.
