News of Burger Kings in Japan launching a black burger spread like wildfire on social media last year and if you're wondering what one tastes like you won't have to wait too long to try one for yourself as they are being served throughout the UK for the next month.
The Halloween Whopper - featuring a black bun, which is coloured using a natural colourant and infused with barbecue flavouring - will only be available in participating Burger Restaurants until Halloween, Saturday October 31.
Announcing it on Facebook, Burger King said: "Embrace the darkness. Then eat it. #HalloweenBurger".
Matthew Bresnahan, marketing director for Burger King in northern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, commented: "The introduction of the black burger in Japan created a lot of excitement for Burger King fans, with many people in the UK interested in trying the burger.
"We love creating new and innovative experiences for our guests and we felt that Halloween was the perfect occasion to satisfy this demand."
