Highshot, an on-demand cocktail app will be launched in London this week.

To celebrate, an exclusive invite-only cocktail party will be held in Kensington with an opportunity for guests to also try a new snake venom-infused cocktail.

The Highshot Cocktail is a concoction of Ciroc coconut, ginger, lemongrass, chili, mango, pineapple, Wray and Nephew rum and snake’s venom .

A snake charmer, the same one that has charmed Sir Ian Mckellen in the past, will entertain guests as they sip on their fiendish cocktails.

Extremely difficult to prepare safely, the cocktail is comparable to preparing a Blowfish, or Pufferfish - who’s internal organs contain a toxin that is said to be 10,000 times more poisonous than cyanide.

Both the app and the cocktail will be launched at The Hyde, opposite Kensington Palace on Thursday, April 13.

The launch party will feature award-winning mixologists, celebrity guests and complementary cocktails and of course the chance to try the venomous beverage.
