Michelin star head chef Tom Aikens , has launched a new breakfast menu at two of his London restaurants.
The luxury morning offering is available at his Chelsea and Canary Wharf sites, Monday to Friday from 8am to 11.30am.
New additions such as baked Turkish eggs with sumac yoghurt, sweetcorn fritters topped with grilled avocado and a side of chilli scrambled egg and Tom's trio of breakfast bruschetta's, now sit alongside Tom’s Kitchen favourites including truffle eggs Benedict, full English breakfast and sausage or bacon sandwiches.
For those on the lookout for lighter options, a new chia seed and acai super fruit bowl has been added to dishes such as fruity breakfast granola, freshly chopped seasonal fruit, porridge and a warm wholemeal breakfast scone.
Tom's Kitchen restaurants are renowned for serving contemporary British dishes and comfort food classics, using the finest seasonal ingredients, with an emphasis on where food comes from and how it is grown.
With six restaurants now under his belt, you may recognise him from BBC television show The Great British Menu.
Highlights from the breakfast menu:
CLASSIC: Sausage or bacon sandwich, £9.50 add a fried egg for an extra £2.50.
CLASSIC: Crushed avocado with chilli, mixed seeds, cashew nuts and toast, £8.50 plus a poached egg for an extra £2.50.
NEW: Tom’s Trio of Breakfast Bruschetta with crushed peas and burrata, pepper salsa and smoked salmon, crushed avocado, mixed seeds and cashews, £13.
NEW: Sweetcorn fritters with grilled avocado and chilli scrambled egg, £9.50.
NEW: Chia seed and acai super fruit bowl with banana, coconut shavings, granola, £6.
CLASSIC: Brioche French toast with caramelised apples and cinnamon cream, £9.
CLASSIC: Bloody Mary, £9.
CLASSIC: Truffle eggs Benedict, £19.
CLASSIC: Full English Breakfast with two fried eggs, bacon, sausage, grilled tomato, Portobello mushroom, Heinz baked beans, black pudding and toast, £15.
CLASSIC: Omelette, ham and cheese, £10 or plain with truffle, £14.
