2016 is the 40th anniversary of the Grunwick dispute, when a group of Asian women made history by striking for better pay and working conditions at a factory in Chapter Road, NW2.

People of all races came together to support them, and this year the community will be installing a huge mural in Willesden to celebrate the unity that the Grunwick women represented.
