AN ADRENALIN-CHARGED set is promised when tribute band Counterfeit Quo take to the stage at Tropic at Ruislip.

The band, made up of four hardened Quo fans, have seen a success since forming in 1995 and have toured every region of the UK and parts of Europe, as well as featuring on local and national BBC radio.

They have also had the privilege of working with original Quo drummer John Coghlan and have been given the seal of approval by no less than the Quo's very own Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt.

Tin Pan dance show

BABEL School of Dance presents a unique performance of Tin Pan Alley at the Beck Theatre.

The show has been specially written for the school, made up of performers from the age of three to young adults.

Tin Pan Alley tells the story of a young girl called Dolores who is very unhappy. Her family are highly dysfunctional and she leaves to find a better life for herself. On her journey through Tin Pan Alley, she travels through the land of the Girls and Boys. She comes up against Vanity and Insanity and, finally, in the Land of the Keys, she finds the key that will take her back to reality.

The Babel School of Dance runs classes at Hayes and Harlington Community Centre, and at Heston Community School, in Hounslow.

AWARD-WINNING choir Jubilate are the major attraction at a musical evening to be held by Northwood Live At Home Scheme.

After a champagne reception, Jubilate will sing a wide variety of songs, including Adiemus, Chattanooga Choo Choo and Annie's Song.

A stylish dinner, an auction and a barber shop session complete the evening.

The event is in aid of Northwood Live At Home, which supports about 120 older people in Northwood and Northwood Hills.
