When a baker and his wife learn they've been cursed with infertility by the witch living next door, they embark on a quest for special objects to break the spell.

But the consequences of their actions return to haunt them, with disastrous results.

East End gangsters come to life in Proscenium Theatre's latest production Going Straight

PENNED by master playwright Richard Harris, amateur dramatics group Proscenium Theatre Company presents Going Straight, the story of two East End gangsters adjusting to the quiet life of retirement.

Michael is living it up in Spain with his younger, second wife Francine, while Ray, married to acid-tongued Brenda, is struggling to make ends meet back home in Blighty.

After two years with no contact, Michael invites his old friend and his wife for a visit, but Brenda is suspicious of his true motives.

As the stories of their pasts are told, suspicions increase until the truth is finally revealed.
