UNLEASHED devices is a playful exhibition in which artists have reconstructed, remixed and reinvented everyday electronic devices.

Working in this way, the artists change our understanding of the possible use of data and purpose of technology.

The exhibition of 30 installations and exhibits by more than 40 artists is part of the Node London autumn season and will form part of the London Design Festival.

Unleashed Devices is an exhibition of DIY, hacking and open source projects by artists who explore technologies critically and creatively.

These projects not only challenge our concept of technology, but also music, art and design.

Here, they reveal the power of DIY modes as tools to stimulate social reflection and participation.

Bop Along Tots

FANCY a bop with your tot? The tinies are set to invade the Drayton's function room to boogie the afternoon away with their embarrassed parents and carers.

Bop Along Tots, hosted by DJ Mamma Sim, has been gathering quiet momentum for a couple of years, mainly by word of mouth.

Now it takes to the floor on the occasional Sunday in west London to give the family something energetic and novel to do.

The event is for under-eights and their families, and, as it falls on International Talk like a Pirate Day, the mid-disco interactive events will reflect that theme.

2010 Chiswick House Gardens Dog Show

ONE of the largest free, open dog shows in London is expected to be a real wag, so why not pop along to Chiswick House for a great family day out?

The 2010 Chiswick House Gardens Dog Show is being held for the sixth year running by CHOW (Chiswick House Organised Walkers) and Chiswick House Friends, on the cricket pitch within Chiswick House Gardens.

Again this year will be the opportunity for dogs to be entered into the various classes, such as best puppy, handsomest dog and prettiest bitch, best young handler and the popular fancy dress competition.

Last year, a record 430 dogs were entered.

For those visitors who do not fancy taking part in the classes, there will be plenty of other activities, such as a pooch manicure and canine training school, which will be running agility and heel work to music demonstrations.

This year, owners will be able to let their dogs take part in some agility training.

There will also be a variety of stalls, including Chiswick Pets, The Mayhew Trust Animal Home, Dogs Trust, Many Tears, RNLI and The Cinnamon Trust and a licensed bar, barbecue, crepe stall, ice-creams, a dog creche and face painters.

All surplus funds from the show are used to support dog-related projects within Chiswick House Gardens.

Recently, this involved the replacement of dog waste bins and installation of free waste bag dispensers.
