A SLAPSTICK show, an exhibition, workshops and classes are all coming to the Watermans Art Centre.

The Lazy Daisy Show by Slapstick

Theatre Company is a barrel of laughs for three to eight-year-olds which runs from today (Friday) until Sunday.

An exhibition of new work to mark Refugee Week and The Story of London has been created in response to the Mayor of London's call to explore stories of the capital. The display, called london.inc@rcerated.co.uk, runs until July 25 and is free.

Every Saturday, children aged nine to 14 can enjoy Drama Zone with Kenn Michaels, a lively drama workshop using improvisation, mime storytelling, theatre games, voice and physical exercises. This runs until July 11.

Pandemonium is a music workshop for children and parents/carers led by Tamar Swade every Wednesday with lots of fun and games. [25cf] Bollywood and Bharatanatyam dance classes for juniors and adults are held on Sundays until July 26.

Arts showcase

AN EXHIBITION celebrating students' work in dance, music, fashion, art and media is showcased at Thames Valley University's Ealing campus next week.

The Faculty of the Arts' Summer Showcase of student talent is open to the public and free of charge. Visitors can tour an exhibition of their work and enjoy free live performances in the evenings, including a piano recital from final year TVU students, a fashion show film and a London College of Music event featuring soul, a trumpet trio and jazz quartet.

Three days of jazz and world music

A THREE-DAY celebration of the best in jazz and world music is being presented at Riverside Studios.

Tunes in June, which runs from Thursday (18-20) to next Saturday boasts an array of acclaimed artists including the guitarist Antonio Forcione and the Filomena Campus Band, plus a unique Theatralia multimedia event with the legendary saxophonist Evan Parker.

Antonio Forcione is a London-based artist who has worked with top UK jazz musicians such as Guy Barker, Jean Toussaint and Byron Wallen. Antonio's soul-jazz and flamenco guitar melodies masterfully blend with African and
