ONE: Dog show

A DOG show will have pooches competing for the most handsome mutt, the pet with the waggiest tale as well as the most perfect puppy title.

The event is being held by Harefield Dogs Trust and presenter Sarah Jane Honeywell, from children's programme Cbeebies, will start the event and put on a show for kids.

She said: "This fun-filled event promises something for everyone with four-legged family members also welcome.

"I will be signing autographs throughout the day in the children's fun area so all are welcome to come and join me."

Children will also have the chance to have their face painted like dalmatians.

Dogs will be welcome to enjoy treats at the doggy deli as well as to take part in games.

TWO: Dirty Weekend

HELP do your bit for nature and enjoy the great outdoors by taking part in BBC's Dirty Weekend.

The event is supported by Hillingdon Council and will include opportunities for people to grow plants, build a home for stag beetles, clean out ponds and make a bird box.

It will take place this weekend. On June 6 people can help out at Little Britain Lake with the meeting area being at the picnic area in Old Mill Lane, Cowley. The event is from 10am to 3pm.

On the same day people can help restore an old dew pond at Minet Country Park in Springfield Road, Hayes, from 11am to 4pm.

A butterfly garden will be built at Cowley Recreation Grounds on Sunday between 11am and 3pm. A pond will be tidied up at Ruislip Woods Local Nature Reserve in Reservoir Road, Ruislip on the same day from 10am to 4pm. The event will include a guided walk. The meeting point will be at Ruislip Lido car park at 10am.

THREE: Duck Pond Market

DUCK Pond Market will offer more than 75 stalls, some selling produce made by local farmers, as well as face painting for children and live music from buskers.

There will also be a cafe selling food and drinks plus ample outdoor and indoor seating. Parking is free.

FOUR: Psychic evening

FIVE: Home by David Storey

HOME is an intriguing play about four eccentric characters. It is set in a mental asylum but this only becomes apparent as the play progresses. As the characters interact we come to realise their delusions and pretensions are similar to those of people living in a supposedly normal society.
