Actress Helen Flanagan threw a mini-tantrum when she landed in Australia for this year's I'm A Celebrity yesterday.

The 22-year-old former Coronation Street star seemed shocked to find a crowd waiting to greet her at Brisbane airport yesterday. She refused to speak to fans or journalists and wouldn't smile for photographs.

Speaking to her chaperone, she said: "I've just got off a two-day flight and I've got people coming towards me. This is irritating.

"I hate flying. They put me on a two-day flight and I can't handle it."

The actress, who usually likes to look glamorous having embraced the WAG lifestyle with footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair, was wearing a T-shirt and leather jacket  and had her hair in an untidy bun.

It's expected that she will show off her curves in sexy bikinis on I'm a Celeb 2012 as she's been working out to get in shape.

Actress Linda Robson, who starred alongside Pauline Quirke in Birds of a Feather, was the first contestant to arrive in Australia.

Photographs at the airport of Conservative MP Nadine Dorries, who is facing criticism for appearing on the show, also emerged yesterday.

Comedian Brian Conley, former heavyweight boxer David Haye, ex-EastEnder Charlie Brooks, the sixth Doctor Who Colin Baker, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, celebrity cook Rosemary Shrager and legendary darts player Eric Bristow are also expected to star in this year's I'm A Celebrity alongside usual hosts And and Dec.

There have also been rumours that Wrestler and Hollywood action star The Rock could appear in the show, but he has dismissed these rumours as "garbage" on Twitter.

I'm a Celebrity 2012 begins on ITV1 on Sunday November 11 after the X Factor
